Content Writer

Role Overview
We are looking for a Content Writer who can own end-to-end content planning, creative development, and performance optimization across digital-first formats. This role requires a strong blend of creative storytelling, data-backed decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, especially in a video- and creator-led ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning

● Own monthly and weekly content calendars across multiple categories including fashion, beauty, electronics, home, and lifestyle.

● Design content frameworks for short-form videos, long-form content, live streams, editorial formats, and creator collaborations.

● Identify high-impact content opportunities around product launches, seasonal moments, and sale events.

● Conceptualize scalable shows, formats, and storytelling structures to drive engagement, retention, and repeat viewership.
2. Creative Development

● Create detailed content briefs, narratives, storyboards, and hooks for creators and hosts.

● Define and maintain visual style, tone, and messaging across formats while ensuring brand consistency.

● Enable creative experimentation without diluting brand guidelines.

● Develop innovative engagement concepts such as polls, challenges, games, insights-led content, comparisons, and workshops.
3. Creator & Production Collaboration

● Work closely with creators, hosts, DOPs, editors, stylists, and production teams to translate strategy into execution.

● Guide creators on best practices for product demos, reviews, tutorials, and live-show flows.

● Provide real-time creative inputs during shoots and live sessions when required.
4. Performance, Insights & Optimization

● Analyze content performance across key metrics such as views, watch time, engagement rate, retention, CTR, comments, and conversions.

● Conduct category-level deep dives to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.

● Recommend data-backed improvements to scripts, formats, and creative messaging.

● Continuously test and experiment with new formats, platforms, and content styles based on audience behavior and trends.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination

● Collaborate with category, merchandising, SEO, and marketing teams to align content with business priorities.

● Build product-focused content strategies including comparisons, explainers, top picks, gifting guides, and UGC-style formats.

● Partner closely with design, video editing, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
Required Skills & Competencies

● Strong understanding of digital content ecosystems, social media platforms, and short-video trends.

● Excellent writing skills for scripts, hooks, content briefs, and narrative structures.

● Ability to simplify complex product information into engaging, consumer-friendly content.

● Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using dashboards and content metrics.

● High creativity balanced with structured and strategic thinking.

● Proven ability to guide creators and collaborate with cross-functional and production teams.

● Familiarity with live commerce and the creator economy is a strong plus.

Experience Requirements

● 3–6 years of experience in content writing, social media, creator/content marketing, digital storytelling, or video-first content roles.

● Prior experience working with creators, agencies, or production houses is preferred.
