Role Description   The Orthodontist will provide comprehensive orthodontic care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients requiring smile correction and bite alignment. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed clinical examinations, interpreting diagnostic records, recommending appropriate orthodontic treatments (such as braces, clear aligners, and adjunctive procedures), and performing follow-up adjustments. The role involves collaborating with other dental specialists to support full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry cases, while maintaining strict infection control and documentation standards.

The Orthodontist will educate patients on treatment options, care instructions, and expected outcomes, ensuring a high level of patient satisfaction and safety. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru at Opal Dentistry.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Dentistry and Medicine, with the ability to integrate oral health with overall patient well-being.
Advanced expertise in Orthodontics, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and execution of corrective procedures.
Proficiency in providing comprehensive Dental Care, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic support as needed.
Demonstrated ability to manage Treatment processes end-to-end, from consultation to follow-up and long-term maintenance.
Recognized dental degree (BDS) with a postgraduate qualification (MDS) in Orthodontics from an accredited institution.
Current professional registration and license to practice, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.

Experience with clear aligner therapy (e.g., Invisalign) and veneer-related smile design is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, patient-centered approach, and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to clinical protocols, and use of modern dental technology and equipment.
