Japanese Educator

Location: Bengaluru

Airlearn is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Educator (Japanese) for our Japanese Content division.  This role involves creating high-quality educational content, guiding a small team, and providing strategic direction to ensure our Japanese language learning experience meets the needs of learners in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Japanese and English, hands-on experience in language learning content creation, and the leadership skills required to mentor subject matter experts and drive curriculum excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop engaging Japanese language learning content tailored specifically for learners in the US market.
Review, refine, and optimize content using learner feedback, performance data, and engagement metrics.
Stay up to date with trends in Japanese language education and digital learning to continuously improve content quality and pedagogy.
Provide guidance and mentorship to educators or SMEs contributing to Japanese content.

Qualifications :
Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese, with strong English communication skills.
Proven experience creating high-quality Japanese language learning content, preferably for digital or app-based learning platforms.
Solid understanding of curriculum design, CEFR-aligned progression, and instructional best practices for language learning.
Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, Linguistics, Education, or a related field is preferred.
