Job Purpose
To deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching across Cambridge International AS & A Level while preparing to extend provision to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, supporting students in achieving outstanding academic results and developing strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and confidence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned primarily with Cambridge AS/A Level Mathematics, while also supporting current and future requirements of the IB Mathematics (AA/AI – SL/HL, as applicable) curriculum.
Teach relevant content including Pure Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanics, and applied mathematics topics.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
Integrate technology, inquiry-based learning, and real-world applications into lessons.
Design and administer assessments aligned with  Cambridge  and  IB  assessment criteria.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to support student progress.
Prepare students for internal assessments, mock examinations, and final external examinations.
Monitor and support students’ academic and personal development.

Professional & Departmental Duties
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Stay up to date with syllabus changes, examination updates, and best practices.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE,

B.Ed., or equivalent).
Experience teaching  Cambridge AS/A Level  and/or  IB Mathematics  preferred.
Strong understanding of international assessment frameworks.
