School Principal

Job Purpose
The School Principal will provide strategic, academic, and operational leadership to an international school, ensuring high standards of education, student wellbeing, and regulatory compliance , while fostering a culture of excellence aligned with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership
Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the curriculum
Ensure high-quality teaching and learning outcomes across all grade levels.
Monitor academic performance through data analysis, classroom observations, and assessments.
Drive innovation in pedagogy, assessment, and digital learning.
School Operations & Administration
Oversee day-to-day school operations, including academic planning, timetabling, staffing, and resource allocation .
Manage school budgets, facilities, and operational efficiency.
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing teaching and administrative staff .
Implement performance management, professional development, and appraisal systems .
Foster a collaborative, multicultural, and inclusive work environment.
Student Welfare & Safeguarding
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all students.
Promote positive student behavior, inclusion, and pastoral care systems.
Build a school culture that supports holistic student development .
Parent, Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for parents, school board, and external stakeholders .
Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community.
Represent the school in official forums, inspections, and accreditation visits.
Strategy, Growth & School Development
Develop and execute the school’s vision, mission, and strategic plan .
Support student enrolment growth , marketing initiatives, and school branding.
Lead accreditation processes (e.g., Cambridge, IB, CIS, NEASC ).
Required Qualifications & Experience
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field .
10–15 years of progressive experience in education, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Principal / Vice Principal / Head of School).
Strong experience in international curricula (Cambridge / IB / British / American).
