About the Role

The Senior Education Counselor will be responsible for counselling prospective students and parents, understanding career goals, explaining the program offerings, handling fee discussions, and converting enquiries into successful enrollments. The role requires strong communication skills, counselling expertise, and a target-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents through phone calls, walk-ins, online meetings, and follow-ups

Understand students' educational background, career goals, and learning requirements

Present program details including structure, duration, fees, and career outcomes

Guide students in making informed career decisions

Handle pricing discussions, objections, and enrollment closures confidently

Maintain regular follow-ups to maximize conversion rates

Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets

Coordinate with operations teams for planning the induction to the program.

Maintain accurate records of enquiries, counselling notes and conversions.

Address enquiries concerns professionally with empathy and clarity

Stay updated on program offerings, market trends, and competitor programs

Required Skills

6 to 8+ years of experience in education counselling or admissions

Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills

Ability to explain technical or professional aspects of the program in simple language

Experience in handling fee discussion and objection handling

Target-oriented and result-driven approach

Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, email, and Whats App follow-ups

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Education, Business, or related fields preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in IT training institutes, EdTech, education institutions

Background in counselling for professional or technical courses

Multilingual skills (English and local language preferred)
