Position: Career Counselor cum School Counselor/Psychology Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Career Counselor cum School Counselor/Psychology Teacher to join our dynamic team.

As a multifaceted professional, you will provide guidance and support to students in their academic, personal, and career development. Your expertise in counseling and psychology will enable students to navigate the challenges of adolescence and make informed decisions about their future.

Key Responsibilities

Counseling :

Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, personal, and career-related issues.
Develop and implement counseling programs to promote student well-being, self-awareness, and goal-setting.

Teaching

Teach Psychology classes to students, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans.
Assess student learning and progress, providing constructive feedback.

Career Guidance

Provide career counseling to students, helping them explore their interests, skills, and aspirations.
Organize career-related events, workshops, and activities to expose students to various career paths.

Collaboration

Work with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student development and well-being.
Collaborate with external agencies and organizations to provide additional support services for students.

Requirements

Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Teaching certification and/or counseling certification.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in counseling, teaching, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with students and parents from diverse backgrounds.

Skills

Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Empathy and understanding of student needs and concerns.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
