Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for the position of Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor will guide students in their educational and career journeys through counseling and academic advising. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting prospective students, understanding their needs and aspirations, offering tailored guidance on academic and career paths, addressing queries, and coordinating educational programs to enrich their experience.
The role requires maintaining records, building strong relationships with students, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure quality advising services.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Student Counseling, Career Counseling, and Academic Advising
0-3 years Experience
Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students and stakeholders
In-depth understanding of the Education sector and its offerings
Ability to build rapport with students and provide personalized guidance
Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with a Master’s degree in Education or Counseling preferred
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory
