Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Principal role for a new CBSE School based in Bengaluru. The Principal will provide academic and administrative leadership for the institution, aligning school operations with the organization’s mission, vision, and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring teaching quality, guiding assessments, and ensuring consistency with state and central board standards. The Principal will support and mentor faculty, manage staff performance, and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and safe learning environment for students.
Additional duties include coordinating with parents and guardians, managing admissions and student discipline, overseeing budgets and resource allocation, driving school improvement initiatives, and representing the institution to external stakeholders and accreditation bodies.
Qualifications
- Strong academic leadership skills, including experience in school or college administration, strategic planning, and staff management.
- Proven expertise in curriculum implementation, assessment practices, and alignment with state and central board requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to promote an inclusive, student-centered learning culture with high academic and ethical standards.
- Sound understanding of educational policies, regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and quality assurance in K-12 and/or higher education.
- Master’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; a formal qualification in educational leadership or administration is preferred.
- Significant teaching experience and prior experience in a leadership role (such as Vice Principal, Head of Department, or equivalent) in a reputable institution.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, professional development, and integration of modern pedagogical and technology-enabled practices.
