Role
Description:
This is an on-site contract role for an Assessment Specialist based in Bengaluru . The Assessment Specialist will design, review, and refine assessment tools and frameworks aligned with curriculum goals and learning outcomes. The role involves analysing student performance data, generating insights, and recommending improvements to teaching and assessment practices. The Assessment Specialist will collaborate with educators, school leadership, and internal teams to ensure assessments are fair, reliable, and effective.
Daily activities include creating test items, rubrics, and evaluation criteria; conducting workshops or orientations on assessment practices; documenting processes; and supporting the implementation of assessment strategies in partner schools.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Maths / Science/English
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret assessment data and derive actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, stakeholders, and internal teams, and to explain assessment concepts clearly.
Experience in assessment design, implementation, and evaluation within educational settings.
Background in education or related fields, with practical understanding of school curricula and pedagogy.
Training skills to facilitate sessions for teachers and staff on assessment methods and best practices.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple projects, and meet agreed timelines.
Familiarity with educational technology tools and basic data analysis software is an advantage.
