Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commerce Faculty (Fintech) role based in Bengaluru. The Commerce Faculty will design and deliver engaging curriculum on commerce and fintech topics, including digital payments, financial technologies, financial markets, and related regulatory frameworks. The role involves preparing lesson plans, teaching in classroom settings, creating learning materials and assessments, and providing constructive feedback to learners. The faculty member will mentor students on career paths in fintech, support placement-focused training modules, and collaborate with peers to continuously improve content quality and teaching methodologies.
Additional responsibilities may include conducting workshops, participating in academic planning, and staying current with emerging trends in fintech and commerce education.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in commerce, finance, and fintech concepts, including digital payments, financial products, and financial markets.
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver structured lessons, create course materials, and develop assessments aligned with learning outcomes.
Effective classroom facilitation skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and engage diverse groups of learners.
Experience mentoring or guiding students for career preparation, internships, or placements in commerce, finance, or fintech roles.
Comfort with using digital tools, learning management systems, and basic data analysis for tracking learner progress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
Master’s in Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field; specialization or certification in fintech is an advantage.
Prior teaching, corporate training, or industry experience in fintech, banking, or financial services is highly beneficial.
Power Bi and advanced excel skills
