Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and academically accomplished individual for the position of Assistant Professor in the School of IT. The ideal candidate should be a recent PhD graduate with a strong foundation in teaching, research, and a passion for academic excellence, and should be available to join immediately .
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in IT-related subjects
Develop and update course materials in line with current industry trends
Engage in research activities and publish in reputed journals/conferences
Guide and mentor students for academic and career development
Participate in curriculum development and academic planning
Contribute to departmental administration and institutional activities
Collaborate with industry and academia for research and projects
Eligibility Criteria
PhD in Information Technology / Computer Science / Relevant Discipline (Recently Awarded)
Strong academic record throughout (UG/PG)
NET/SET qualification preferred (if applicable as per norms)
Demonstrated research potential with publications (preferred)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, etc.
Ability to integrate technology-enabled teaching methods
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for teaching and student engagement
Immediate joiners will be given preference
