Key Responsibilities Academic Leadership
Provide academic leadership in teaching and research within Finance and Accounting.
Foster a culture of scholarly excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Represent the University at national and international academic and professional forums.
Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance activities, including AACSB and EQUIS initiatives.
Develop strategic partnerships with industry, government bodies, and academic institutions.
Participate actively in departmental governance, administration, and operational management.
Mentor and support the development of junior and early-career academic staff.
Teaching and Curriculum Development
Design, coordinate, and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Finance and Accounting.
Lead curriculum development, programme enhancement, and contextualisation initiatives.
Support programme accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
Deliver high-quality, student-focused teaching and learning experiences.
Promote innovative teaching practices that enhance student engagement, employability, and transferable skills.
Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages academic excellence.
Research and Scholarship
Maintain an active programme of high-quality research and publication in internationally recognised peer-reviewed journals.
Lead and contribute to research projects with national and international impact.
Pursue external research funding opportunities where appropriate.
Support interdisciplinary research collaborations across the University.
Integrate research excellence into teaching and curriculum development.
Supervise doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate research projects while ensuring high standards of academic integrity and rigor.

Experience
Essential
Significant academic experience with substantial teaching and module design achievements in Finance and Accounting.
