Position Summary

Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS Business School) is seeking an experienced and dynamic academic professional for the role of  Head – MDP & Executive Education  to lead and strengthen the institution's Management Development Programs (MDPs), Executive Education initiatives, corporate training activities, and professional learning programs.

The ideal candidate should be a Professor/Academician from any specialization or domain with strong teaching, training, industry interaction, and program management experience. The role involves designing and executing executive education programs, corporate learning initiatives, leadership development workshops, certification programs, and industry-oriented training interventions.

The candidate will be responsible for building strong industry relationships, driving revenue-generating executive programs, and positioning GIBS as a preferred destination for executive learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

MDP & Executive Education Leadership

Lead and manage all Management Development Programs (MDPs) and Executive Education initiatives of the institution.
Design and execute short-term and long-term executive learning programs for corporates, working professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders.
Develop customized corporate training programs aligned with industry requirements.

Program Development & Delivery

Identify emerging industry trends and design Executive Education Programs aligned with industry needs and market demands.
Develop industry-oriented MDPs, FDPs, certification programs, leadership workshops, and executive learning initiatives.
Ensure effective planning, scheduling, coordination, and delivery of executive education and professional development programs.

Corporate Relations & Industry Engagement

Build strong relationships with corporates, industries, government bodies, and professional organizations for executive training collaborations.
Develop strategic partnerships for corporate learning, consulting, and executive development initiatives.
Coordinate with industry experts, trainers, faculty members, and guest speakers.

Academic & Teaching Responsibilities

Contribute to teaching, mentoring, workshops, seminars, and executive sessions as per institutional requirements.
Deliver industry-oriented and experiential learning sessions for executives and students.
Support curriculum enrichment through practical and industry-focused perspectives.

Business Development & Revenue Generation

Drive institutional growth through Executive Education, MDPs, FDPs, corporate training initiatives, and professional development programs.
Develop strategic industry partnerships and corporate collaborations to expand executive learning opportunities.
Propose financial budgets, revenue plans, and annual business targets for MDP/FDP and Executive Education programs.
Monitor program performance, participant engagement, and revenue generation to achieve institutional growth objectives.
Identify new business opportunities and customized training solutions for corporates and working professionals.

Institutional Development

Organize executive conclaves, leadership summits, FDPs, industry interaction programs, and professional networking events.
Collaborate with academic departments and institutional teams for interdisciplinary executive learning initiatives.
Support institutional accreditation, rankings, and professional engagement initiatives.

Reporting & Administration

Prepare program reports, participant feedback analysis, revenue reports, and performance reviews.
Maintain records related to executive programs, corporate collaborations, and training activities.

Qualifications

Master's Degree / MBA / PhD in Management or any relevant specialization.
Strong academic background with teaching experience in Higher Education Institutions / Business Schools.
Minimum 8–15 years of experience in Academics, Executive Education, Corporate Training, MDPs, or Professional Development Programs.
Experience in handling corporate learning initiatives, training programs, or executive education activities will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Professor/Academician from any domain with strong industry interaction and training exposure.
Experience in conducting MDPs, FDPs, executive workshops, leadership programs, or corporate training initiatives.
Strong network with corporates, industry leaders, and professional bodies will be an added advantage.
