Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Australia Study Abroad Counselor based in Bengaluru, India. The counselor will guide students through the process of applying to study in Australia, providing personalized career counseling and reviewing program options. Responsibilities include assisting with university applications, ensuring accurate documentation, offering visa process guidance, delivering pre-departure resources, and addressing student inquiries. The role involves staying up-to-date on Australian education trends and maintaining relationships with partner institutions to offer the best opportunities to students.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Australian universities, study programs, and the application process
Capacity to provide career counseling, guide in academic program selection, and advise on study abroad opportunities
Proficiency in documentation and guiding students through university applications and visa processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for engaging with students and families
Proven skills in organization, multitasking, and problem-solving
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM tools is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; experience in higher education counseling preferred
