Role Summary
Trianz is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to design and develop high-quality, AI-enhanced learning solutions for product, engineering, partner and customer-facing teams in a fast-paced SaaS/cloud product organization. This role focuses on hands-on content creation and development execution, working closely with the Lead Instructional Designer to deliver innovative technical learning experiences. The ideal candidate will apply proven instructional design methodologies and modern learning technologies to create engaging, technical learning content that drives product adoption and skill development.

Key Responsibilities
Learning Content Development & Production
Develop engaging, learner-centric technical content for internal teams (engineering, product management, customer success, Dev Ops) and external audiences (partners, developers, end-users)
Convert complex business use cases, product features, APIs, SOPs, and technical documentation into clear, accessible learning modules using AI-assisted content creation tools
Build interactive learning modules across multiple formats: eLearning courses, microlearning units, interactive simulations, virtual labs, and self-paced tutorials
Create practical assessments including hands-on challenges, scenario-based evaluations, and skill-based quizzes
AI-Assisted Content Creation
Utilize AI tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) to streamline content development, generate learning scenarios, and enhance instructional effectiveness
Implement AI-powered features to create personalized learning experiences based on learner progress and skill levels
Use generative AI for content prototyping, automated assessment creation, and content adaptation
Apply AI-driven insights to optimize learning content and improve engagement metrics
Technical Content Integration
Work closely with product managers, engineering teams, and enablement teams to develop accurate, timely training content aligned with product releases
Develop certification modules, product release training, developer onboarding materials, and just-in-time learning resources
Create hands-on technical labs, interactive exercises, and practical simulation environments
Design learning content for cloud platforms, APIs, development frameworks, and modern technical tools
Learning Operations Support
Support learning needs assessments and skill gap analysis initiatives led by senior leadership
Apply established instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM) with iterative development cycles
Implement learning analytics and data collection to support continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate on cross-functional learning projects and provide guidance to junior team members
Required Technical Skills
Core Instructional Design Experience
8-12 years of hands-on experience in technical instructional design, with strong background in product-focused learning for SaaS or cloud technology companies
Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts (APIs, cloud architecture, software development) for technical and business audiences
Solid understanding of learning science principles, cognitive load theory, and adult learning best practices in technical environments
eLearning Development Tools Proficiency
Advanced proficiency in authoring tools:  Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
Strong skills in  multimedia production :
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva Pro, basic Figma usage
AI & Technology Integration
AI-Powered Content Development :
Hands-on experience with Claude, CoPilot or similar LLMs for content creation and optimization
Learning Analytics :

Experience with learning analytics tools and data interpretation for content improvement
Technical & Platform Skills

Working experience with  Learning Management Systems :
Moodle or similar LMS platforms for content deployment
Cloud platforms awareness :
Basic understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for technical content context
Project Management & Collaboration

Experience with  Agile/Scrum development processes  and tools like Jira for project tracking
Cross-functional collaboration  with technical and business stakeholders
Familiarity with  documentation tools  like Confluence

Preferred Qualifications
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree in  Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Technical Communication,  or related field
Professional certifications : CPTD, APTD, or relevant instructional design credentials
Technical certifications :
Google Cloud fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, or similar cloud platform certifications
Specialized Experience
4+ years in  SaaS and cloud technology  product environments
Technical audience focus :
Experience creating learning content for developers, engineers, or technical implementers
