Role Description The Biology High School Teacher will design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned biology lessons to high school students, ensuring conceptual clarity and practical understanding. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment, integrate laboratory activities and demonstrations, and collaborate with colleagues on academic and co-curricular initiatives.
Additional responsibilities may involve supporting school events, parent interactions, and student guidance. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Education skills, with demonstrated experience instructing high school students in Biology.
Candidates should possess effective Lesson Planning skills to design structured, engaging, and assessment-oriented biology lessons.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
Candidates should possess a solid understanding of related sciences, such as Physics, to support interdisciplinary learning when needed.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; a
B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification is preferred.
Experience teaching in ICSE/CISCE or similar curricula, with familiarity in board exam requirements and assessment standards, is advantageous.
Ability to use educational technology and digital tools to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
Commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching practices and continuous professional development.
