Role Description The French Teacher will deliver engaging French language lessons, plan curriculum-aligned units, and create instructional materials for students across appropriate grade levels. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting classroom activities, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support language acquisition and overall development. The role involves collaborating with other educators, participating in school events, contributing to co-curricular activities, and maintaining accurate records of student performance.
The French Teacher will also communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and support a positive, inclusive classroom environment aligned with the academy’s values. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Nalapad Academy in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in French Teaching and language instruction, with the ability to plan and deliver effective lessons.
Candidates should possess skills in Teaching and Tutoring to support diverse learning styles and provide individualized academic support.
Candidates should possess skills in Education and Teacher Training, including familiarity with modern pedagogical methods and classroom management techniques.
Relevant academic qualifications such as a degree in French, Education, or a related field; formal training in language teaching methodologies is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in spoken and written French and English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to create an inclusive, student-centered classroom environment.
Prior experience teaching French in a school setting, familiarity with educational technology, and a commitment to continuous professional development are advantageous.
