Alliance University invites applications for faculty positions in Quantum Computing at the level of Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor for AU-QUASAR. The faculty member will contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, laboratory development, student mentoring, sponsored projects, and academic administration in the area of quantum computing and allied domains.
The role is intended for academicians and researchers with strong expertise in quantum computing, quantum information science, quantum algorithms, quantum software, quantum hardware systems, or adjacent interdisciplinary area s, and with the ability to build a high-quality academic and research ecosystem aligned with the School’s deep-tech vision

3) Curriculum & Program Develop
ment Support the design and continuous enhancement of Quantum Computing curriculum in line with emerging global academic and industry tre
nds.
Contribute to new course development, specialization pathways, interdisciplinary electives, and experiential learning modu
les.
Benchmark curriculum against leading global institutions, quantum research centres, and industry requireme
nts.
Assist in designing outcome-based learning frameworks, rubrics, and academic quality standa
rds.
4) Laboratory & Research Ecosystem Develo
pment
Contribute to the establishment and strengthenin g of Quantum Computing labs / simulation environments / research facil ities within AU-QU
ASAR.Support the setup, utilization, and academic integration of quantum software platforms, toolkits, and cloud-based quantum resou
rces.
Develop lab manuals, use cases, datasets, coding assignments, and experimentation frameworks for student and research
use.
Promote a hands-on, innovation-driven learning environment with exposure to real-world quantum workf
lows.
5) Student Mentoring & Academic S
upport
Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic progression, research, projects, innovation, entrepreneurship, and career develo
pment.
Supervise dissertations, theses, independent studies, and student research ou
tputs.
Support student participation in conferences, coding competitions, publications, and startup / incubation initia
tives.
Act as faculty advisor / mentor for student clubs, research groups, and deep-tech initiatives related to quantum technol
