Description:
The Academic manager – Math (Grade 6 and above) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Academic manager will train teachers, conduct regular classroom observations, support teachers with lesson planning, and provide ongoing academic coaching and training in math pedagogy.
The role includes analyzing student performance data, identifying learning gaps, and implementing strategies to improve outcomes across schools. The Academic Lead will also collaborate with school leaders and the central academic team to drive innovation in math teaching, support program scale-up, and maintain consistent academic quality.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Mathematics for Grade 6 and above, with the ability to design curriculum, assessments, and teaching resources.
Prior experience in K–12 education, in middle or high school math, having taught students in a school, preferably with CBSE affiliation.
Demonstrated experience in academic leadership, teacher mentoring, and classroom observation to improve instructional quality.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple schools and projects simultaneously.
Skill in using student performance data and assessment results to identify learning gaps and drive targeted interventions.
Ability to develop engaging, concept-driven math lessons that promote problem solving, critical thinking, and real-life application.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, school leaders, and cross-functional teams.
Willing to travel to our network of schools across the states.
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training or
B.Ed. is an advantage.
