Summary:
The University Guidance Counselor supports students in planning and achieving their higher education goals by providing personalised university and career guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
Guide students through university and career planning.
Assist with university applications, essays, and documentation.
Advise students and parents on admission requirements, scholarships, and timelines.
Organise university fairs, information sessions, and career events.
Build relationships with universities and stay updated on global admissions trends.
Maintain accurate student records and application data.
Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to support student success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counselling, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience in university admissions or college counselling, preferably in an international school.
Strong knowledge of global university admissions processes.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and university representatives.
