The Aviation Parts Sales Representative is responsible for supporting customers with inquiries related to aircraft parts and components, preparing and following up on quotations, and ensuring accurate order processing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced aviation environment while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Handle customer inquiries via email and telephone regarding aviation parts availability, pricing, and lead times.
Provide accurate information on aircraft parts, components, and related services.
Generate, submit, and follow up on quotations for aviation parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to part identification, orders, delivery, and documentation.
Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, inventory, logistics, and quality) to support customer requirements.
Document and update customer records, quotes, and order details in ERP systems.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and sales activities.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of aircraft parts, part numbers, certifications, and evolving products and services.
Ensure compliance with aviation quality standards and documentation requirements (e.g., traceability, certifications).
Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, sales, aviation parts sales, or a related field.
Familiarity with aviation part numbers, components, or aircraft systems is a plus.
Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
Positive, professional demeanor with a customer-focused mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in email communication and basic computer applications (ERP/CRM experience preferred).
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with aviation regulations and documentation (FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, traceability).
Knowledge of OEM, PMA, and aftermarket aircraft parts.
Experience supporting MROs, airlines, or aviation operators.
