We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM expert to act as the guardian of our digital standards. You will be responsible for building the foundation of our Revit environment—the template, the library, and the cloud infrastructure (ACC). Your focus is on Developing and maintaining standards, Quality Assurance, Training, and Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
Build, maintain, and continuously improve the Master Revit Template (View Templates, Filters, Browser Organization, etc.).
- Project Execution Plan:
Develop and manage PEP or BEP (BIM Execution plan) and design workflows
- Library Management:
Curate and maintain the Revit Family Library, ensuring all families are lightweight, standardized, and correctly tagged with Material Master data and other relevant parameters.
- ACC Administration:
Manage the Autodesk Construction Cloud environment, including project setup, user permissions, and cloud model maintenance.
- QA/QC & Auditing:
Perform regular health checks on project models to ensure teams are following standards (e.g., verifying SKU parameters are filled; views are used correctly).
- Building Existing condition or base build Revit models from CAD or auditing from Point Cloud data from vendors.
- Training & Support:
Serve as the primary "Help Desk" for designers facing Revit issues. Create training documentation/videos and conduct upskilling sessions for new hires and existing staff.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in a BIM project environment.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expert-level knowledge of Autodesk Revit (creating templates, view filters, worksets, phases).
- Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) administration.
- Workflow Knowledge:
Strong understanding of interior design documentation phases (Concept to GFC) and how to structure models to support them.
- Soft Skills:
- Patience & Empathy:
Ability to teach complex software concepts to non-technical designers without frustration.
- Detail-Oriented: A compulsion for organization and data consistency.
- Workplace design experience is a plus.
