Job Purpose
To lead the junior medical planners through the planning and the development of healthcare facilities process, by translating clinical requirements and operational workflows into efficient and sustainable architectural solutions. The role focuses on developing space programs and blocking and stacking layouts under the guidance of Associate Principal Medical Planner. Ensuring compliance with healthcare design guidelines and standards, local regulations, and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The role encompasses, but is not restricted to, the following responsibilities:
Developing functional and space programs for healthcare projects.
Develop blocking and stacking layouts and departmental adjacency diagrams.
Propose innovative planning solutions to improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Manage planning deliverables across multiple project stages.
Coordinate with engineering teams (MEP/structural) to integrate technical requirements into functional planning.
Ensure compliance with international healthcare guidelines, standards and accreditation requirements.
Handle the design reviews and incorporate feedback.
Mentor junior medical planners and review their work for accuracy and quality.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or equivalent.
8-10 years of experience (2 years of them to be project related).
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and Microsoft Office, and presentation tools.
Skills and
Competencies:
Solves problems independently, manages workload effectively, produces quality outputs, and collaborates across teams.
Knowledge of healthcare facility requirements and clinical workflows
Oversee project components and ensure team performance.
Strong communication skills.
