Business Development Manager – Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager – Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to develop new markets, customers, partners, and project opportunities in the intelligent transportation and traffic infrastructure sector. The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, building relationships with key industry stakeholders, understanding local transportation projects and customer requirements, and supporting the development of qualified opportunities from initial contact through RFQ, quotation, tender, and project follow-up.
This is a flexible, performance-based cooperation opportunity suitable for professionals with experience or strong networks in transportation, infrastructure, system integration, engineering, or related B2B technical markets.
Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the intelligent transportation market
Develop relationships with system integrators, contractors, engineering companies, consultants, distributors, project owners, and other industry partners
Identify transportation infrastructure projects and potential procurement opportunities
Build relationships with relevant decision-makers, procurement teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders
Understand customer requirements and help connect them with suitable products and solutions
Develop opportunities in highways, urban traffic, tunnels, bridges, parking, public transportation, and related infrastructure projects
Support RFQs, tenders, specifications, quotations, and project development
Coordinate communication between customers, Solution Mall teams, suppliers, and technical partners
Support product and solution discussions during the early stages of projects
Develop local channel, project, and strategic partnership opportunities
Maintain long-term relationships with customers and partners
Collect market information on customer demand, upcoming projects, competitors, pricing, and technology trends
Provide feedback and recommendations on local market development opportunities

Traffic signal control equipment
Traffic monitoring and vehicle detection systems
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) equipment
Variable Message Signs (VMS)
Electronic toll collection and roadside equipment
Intelligent parking equipment and systems
Traffic cameras and specialized monitoring equipment
Traffic information display and guidance systems
Roadside communication and network equipment
Highway, tunnel, and bridge monitoring equipment
Road weather and environmental monitoring equipment
Public transportation and traffic management equipment
Intelligent transportation communication infrastructure
Related ITS products, accessories, and project solutions
Qualifications
Experience in business development, B2B sales, project development, market development, or customer development
Experience or knowledge in intelligent transportation, traffic systems, infrastructure, communication, electronics, security, or related technical industries is preferred
