Magical Nest is a premium kids’-room interior design company. Parents come to us through Instagram and social, excited but full of questions — and the first real conversation they have with us sets the tone for a project and months of trust. That conversation is the job.
This is a phone-first role. You’ll spend your day calling fresh inbound leads, understanding what each family is looking for, answering their questions with genuine warmth and knowledge, and guiding the right ones into a consultation with our senior designer. If you’re hoping for a desk where pre-qualified leads land in your lap, this isn’t it — and that’s exactly why it’s a great role for someone who’s actually good on a call.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Call new leads quickly — speed matters; a warm lead goes cold in hours
Open every call with a first impression that feels premium, not pushy
Qualify thoughtfully: understand the family’s timeline, budget comfort, and how serious they are — without sounding like you’re reading off a form
Answer common questions about how we work, what to expect, and why families choose us — honestly and confidently
Hand off cleanly: send the consultation invite over email/Whats App and route qualified leads so nothing slips
Keep accurate notes on every conversation so the team always knows where each family stands
You won’t be closing the sale on the call — our senior designer personally leads every consultation. Your job is to make sure the right parents reach that conversation feeling genuinely looked after.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Excellent spoken English — this is non-negotiable. You’ll be speaking with metro parents who expect polish; you need to sound articulate, warm, and credible from the first sentence.
A natural ability to build rapport and put people at ease over the phone
Comfort talking about money — our projects run into several lakhs, and you should be able to discuss that range without hesitating
Strong listening skills — the best qualifiers ask, then listen, far more than they pitch
Patience and a level head — not every lead converts, and that’s fine
Organised and reliable with follow-ups; you do what you said you’d do, when you said you’d do it
NICE TO HAVE
Experience in inside sales, pre-sales, or lead qualification — ideally in a premium category like interiors, real estate, or high-end services
Familiarity with Whats App Business and any CRM/lead tracker
A feel for parents as customers, and why a child’s room is an emotional decision, not just a purchase
