DESCRIPTION:
Amazon Now is seeking a Social Media Lead to architect and drive our end-to-end social strategy for Amazon's fastest-growing vertical. This pivotal role sits at the intersection of content excellence, community engagement, and business growth, leading the transformation of how millions of customers discover and connect with Amazon's quick commerce offering across social platforms.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of social media presence for Amazon through platform innovations while driving measurable business impact.
Key job responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Innovation
• Own the complete social media vision and execution strategy for Now's presence across all major platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter/X, Linked In)
• Drive innovation in social content and community engagement that directly impacts customer acquisition and business metrics
• Develop scalable content frameworks that balance creativity, authenticity, and performance
2. Team & Operations Leadership
2. Business Impact & Platform Growth
• Partner with business leaders to translate category strategy into compelling social experiences
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure and optimize social media impact on business outcomes
• Drive social commerce media presence and influencer partnership strategies that accelerate growth
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Proven track record of leading social media teams and managing multi-platform campaigns
- Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, content excellence, and community growth
- Excellence in stakeholder management and communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in retail or e-commerce social media, particularly in quick commerce or delivery services
- Knowledge of social listening tools, analytics platforms, and emerging social commerce technologies
