The Role
As the Internal Communications Lead for Kyndryl India, you will be responsible for managing employee and executive communications across sales, India delivery, and corporate functions. India is a strategic market for Kyndryl, with a significant and growing workforce supporting customers globally. This role is pivotal in shaping organisational culture, driving transformation initiatives, and ensuring effective communication across all levels.
You will develop and execute communication programmes aligned with business priorities, collaborating with teams such as Human Resources, Marketing, Citizenship and Sustainability, Government Affairs, and other key stakeholders. The position requires localisation and customisation of global initiatives for the Indian context, fostering a culture that is proactive, empathetic, and devoted.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy to support business objectives and broader communication priorities.

Lead the creation of engaging campaigns that reinforce brand messaging, enhance employee engagement, and drive organisational transformation.

Manage large-scale events, including town halls, manager meetings, and leadership summits, both in-person and virtual.

Serve as the Communications representative on the Crisis Management Team at the country level, working closely with the India Communications Leader on issues and crisis management programmes.

Oversee and continuously improve internal communications channels (such as SharePoint and newsletters) to ensure messaging is effective and accessible.

Apply audience segmentation and develop tailored messaging for diverse employee groups, utilising multichannel communications programme design and technology platforms.

Collaborate with Human Resources to design and deliver programmes that drive engagement among current and prospective employees.

Integrate external stories into internal communications to foster a sense of connection and shared purpose.

Analyse communications metrics to measure impact and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Communications, including at least five years in an internal communications role.

Proven experience working within a multinational corporation and operating effectively in a matrix environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft both strategic campaigns and day-to-day updates.

Experience providing professional advice and counsel to senior executive levels.

Demonstrated ability to innovate and deliver impactful communications that generate measurable results.

Comprehensive understanding of social media, digital content, and asset production.

Proficiency in using data-driven tools to inform decision-making.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
Experience in the technology sector is advantageous, though not essential. Cross-industry experience or a background with both start-ups and large organisations is valued.

Expertise in Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft tools is desirable.

Proven ability in using AI tools for efficiency and productivity in an internal communications role is highly valued.
