Senior Network Administrator

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview We are seeking a  Senior Network Administrator  to manage and maintain our  on-premise network infrastructure . This role involves hands-on system and network administration, proactive monitoring, security hardening, and rapid incident response. You will work closely with  IT, Dev Ops, and Security teams  to ensure the stability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Network & Security  Configure and manage  firewalls  (e.g.,  Forti Gate )
Create and maintain  firewall policies, NAT rules, and VPN configurations
Configure and troubleshoot  network switches  (Cisco / Huawei / Dell)
Manage  VLANs, trunk/access ports, and routing
Configure and troubleshoot  BGP with multicast network flows
Troubleshoot  network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and routing issues
Ensure adherence to  security best practices  and access controls
Operations & Support  Provide  Tier-2 / Tier-3 support  for infrastructure and network incidents
Proactively monitor  network and system health
Coordinate with  IT, Dev Ops, and Security teams  for infrastructure changes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for:

* Firewall rules

* Network topology
Required Skills & Experience Experience   4+ years  of hands-on experience in  system and network administration
Prior experience working with  exchange networks  (e.g.,  NSE, BSE, MCX ) will be an advantage
Technical Skills  Strong experience with:
Linux servers  (Ubuntu / RHEL)
Firewalls  (Forti Gate / Cisco)
Network switches  (Cisco / Huawei / Dell)
Solid understanding of:
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
VLANs, routing,  multicast , and NAT
Firewall security policies and VPNs
Strong troubleshooting using  CLI-based tools
Good to Have (Preferred)   CIS hardening  experience
Monitoring tools:  Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix
SNMP, Syslog, Net Flow
CCNA / CCNP  or equivalent networking knowledge
Soft Skills  Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
Ownership mindset with attention to detail
Clear documentation and communication skills
Ability to work  independently and collaboratively
