Solutions Architect - SAP Public Cloud

Location: Bengaluru

We are looking for a Solution Architect – SAP Public Cloud with strong functional grounding and proven presales experience. The role requires designing, positioning, and articulating SAP Public Cloud solutions aligned to customer business needs, with a strong focus on Sales, Procurement, or Finance domains.

The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise, hands-on SAP Public Cloud exposure, and customer-facing presales capability, along with strong communication and learning agility.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

- Design end-to-end solutions using SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud
- Translate business requirements into scalable, fit-to-standard SAP solution architectures.
- Lead solution workshops, requirement discovery sessions, and fit-gap discussions.

Presales & Customer Engagement

- Support presales activities including solution demonstrations, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and effort estimations.
- Act as the solution lead in customer discussions, explaining value, scope, and roadmap clearly.
- Collaborate with sales teams to shape winning solution & pricing strategies
- Contribute to proposal content, solution narratives, and customer presentations.

Functional Leadership

- Provide deep functional expertise in Sales (SD) or Procurement (MM/Sourcing) or Finance (FI/CO).
- Advise customers on process simplification, standardization, and adoption of SAP Public Cloud capabilities.
- Guide customers on organizational change implications and adoption strategies.
- Good knowledge in SAP BTP capabilities

SAP Offering & Innovation Awareness

- Maintain strong familiarity with SAP Public Cloud offerings, roadmaps, licensing models, and extensibility options.
- Understand integration approaches with SAP BTP and third-party systems at a high level.
- Continuously learn new SAP innovations and translate them into customer value propositions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 10+ years of overall SAP functional experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4

HANA Public Cloud (implementation, rollout, or solution design).
- Strong functional depth in Sales OR Procurement OR Finance (at least one core domain).
- Minimum 2 years of presales experience, including customer-facing solutioning and demos.
- Good understanding of SAP’s fit-to-standard approach and public cloud constraints.
- Exposure to at least one full SAP implementation lifecycle.

Preferred (Good to Have)

- Experience in multiple industries (Manufacturing, CPG, etc.).
- Exposure to SAP BTP, integrations, or extensibility concepts.
- Prior experience in SAP partner or consulting organizations.
- SAP certifications in S/4

HANA Public Cloud or functional areas.
