Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Wintel)

Role Overview

We are hiring a senior Wintel SME / L3 Engineer to support enterprise-scale Windows infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and data center operations. The role focuses on complex migrations, disaster recovery, change execution, and platform optimization across highly virtualized environments.

This position requires deep technical expertise, strong operational ownership, and the ability to mentor engineers while managing critical infrastructure events.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute enterprise migrations across OS and infrastructure platforms
- Deploy and migrate systems across hypervisors and cloud environments
- Assess infrastructure requirements for new application deployments
- Perform weekend change execution for critical production environments
- Support DR events, power downs, data center moves, and capacity changes
- Install and maintain Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022
- Troubleshoot complex Windows OS issues
- Maintain security compliance and platform hardening
- Automate operations using Power Shell / scripting
- Perform capacity planning and infrastructure operations
- Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments
- Administer AD / DHCP / DNS services
- Implement Group Policies and compliance checks
- Execute patch management and upgrades
- Handle Service Now change & service requests within SLA
- Prepare RCA documentation and incident reports
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Coordinate with cross-functional infrastructure teams
