- Role Overview
The Pre-Sales Unit Lead will be responsible for leading and enabling the pre-sales team to deliver high-quality customer interactions, ensure accurate lead qualification, and drive effective site visit generation. This role plays a critical part in shaping the early home-buying journey and creating a seamless handover to the sales team while maintaining strong CRM discipline and team productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead, mentor, and monitor daily activities of the pre-sales team
- Track performance against defined KRAs and KPIs
- Conduct daily huddles, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused team culture
Lead Management & Conversion
- Ensure high-quality lead qualification based on customer requirements
- Oversee accurate sharing of project details, pricing, and availability
- Drive site visit scheduling, confirmations, and conversions
- Reduce site visit no-shows through structured follow-ups
Customer Experience
- Ensure prompt, professional, and respectful engagement with prospective home buyers
- Enable clear understanding of customer needs before scheduling site visits
- Ensure transparent, accurate, and consistent information sharing
- Build customer confidence during early-stage interactions
CRM & Process Excellence
- Maintain CRM hygiene, data accuracy, and timely updates
- Review CRM reports, MIS dashboards, and performance data
- Ensure smooth handover to Sales teams with complete and accurate information
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales Advisors and Managers for seamless customer transitions
- Coordinate with CRM and Marketing teams to optimize funnel performance
- Support team members in handling complex customer queries
Tools & Systems
- CRM platforms (Zoho CRM or equivalent)
- Lead management and calling tools
- Performance dashboards and MIS reports
- Project, pricing, and availability documentation
Key Result Areas (KRAs) & KPIs
- Qualified leads percentage
- Leads-to-site visit conversion rate
- Site visits per executive
- First-call turnaround time (TAT)
- CRM data accuracy and hygiene score
- Reduction in site visit no-show percentage

Experience & Background
- 4–7 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, or Customer Engagement roles
- Prior team leadership or mentoring experience preferred
- Real estate industry exposure is an advantage (not mandatory)
- Strong experience working with CRM-driven sales workflows
