About the Role

As an TAC Engineer, you will manage complex technical issues, deliver deep‑dive troubleshooting, and act as a key technical liaison between customers and advanced engineering teams. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills, ownership, and the ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot medium to high-complexity issues across Check Point product lines.
- Analyze logs, debug traffic flows, and identify root causes efficiently.
- Provide advanced configuration guidance and optimization recommendations.
- Handle escalations from L1 engineers and mentor junior team members.
- Drive support cases to closure while maintaining SLA compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Product teams for defect investigation and resolution.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, best practices, and technical documentation.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Strong Hands-on Experience With:

- Check Point Security Gateways & Management
- Linux server environments & Windows-based systems
- VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access)
- NAT, routing, and policy-based troubleshooting
- SQL database knowledge (recommended but not mandatory)

Solid Understanding Of:

- TCP/IP, packet flow, session handling & traffic inspection
- Linux CLI tools and system-level debugging

Additional Requirements

- Ability to independently drive case ownership and resolution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have

- Check Point CCSA / CCSE certifications.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of IPS, Threat Prevention, SSL Inspection, and other security technologies.
