We are seeking a Data & AI Lead for a small Innovation Hub to deliver proofs of concept (PoCs) and reusable assets, for various usecases withn Financial Services, with a focus on GRC domains (AML, Financial Crime, Risk & Compliance).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Data & AI PoCs and innovation prototypes
- Build reusable technical assets, accelerators, and reference architectures
- Design governed semantic and logical data layers
- Implement data virtualization and federated data access patterns
- Apply Data Ops and MLOps practices for repeatable PoC delivery
- Design cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP (based on client needs)
- Shape GenAI / LLM PoCs (RAG, knowledge retrieval, case summarization, data discovery)
- Develop domain-aligned data models for AML, Risk, and Compliance
- Mentor and lead a small engineering team (2–5 members)
- Present PoC outcomes to business, IT, and compliance stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- 10–14 years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or AI/Data Solutioning.
- Strong experience in:
Data architecture & data modeling;
Data integration & distributed data systems;
Data virtualization & semantic layer design and SQL + Python.
- Practical experience in Data Ops and/or MLOps practices.
- Experience building modular, API-driven, reusable components.
- Multi-cloud solution design experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Working knowledge of LLM and GenAI solution patterns.
- Strong Financial Services domain background.
- Experience in GRC domains — AML, Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance.
- Proven experience leading small technical teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with data virtualization platforms (e.g., Denodo).
- Experience with data science & AutoML platforms (e.g., Dataiku).
- Exposure to AI-enabled data platforms and data fabric approaches.
- Relevant cloud / data / AI certifications.
