Job Purpose
The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining enterprise integration and ETL solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The role ensures seamless data flow between systems, high system availability, and stable production operations while supporting business and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Develop, maintain, and tune ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), including load plans and mappings.
- Build and support end-to-end integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
- Integrate Oracle Fusion Applications using Fusion REST/SOAP APIs.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support production integrations, including tracking, reprocessing, and fault handling.
- Ensure high availability and performance of integrations through batch scheduling, retry strategies, and idempotency.
- Manage file-based integrations using Object Storage, SFTP, and Google Cloud Storage.
- Implement and maintain security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, certificates, wallets, API keys).
- Support Oracle Log Fire and Oracle WMS Cloud integrations (inbound and outbound flows).
- Analyze incidents and system issues and implement fixes and enhancements.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, mapping specifications, and runbooks.
Qualification &
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (SQL/PL/SQL).
- Proven experience in system integration and ETL development.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English.
