The Role
We're looking for a Project Manager who can own client delivery projects from day one. You'll keep everyone aligned, budgets on track, and timelines moving forward.
The truth is — we need someone who doesn't wait for problems to escalate. You spot blockers early and clear them fast.

What You'll Actually Do Every Day

1. Keep the Factory Running Smoothly
Track every project from day one to delivery—nothing falls through the cracks
Make sure every engineer knows what's on their plate today, tomorrow, and next week
Spot problems before they become fires and escalate immediately (not after a week of hoping it gets better)
2. Drive Predictability Like Your Life Depends On It
Build delivery schedules that people can actually count on
Give leadership real numbers on timelines, budgets, and resource needs
Make "I don't know when it'll be done" disappear from our vocabulary
3. Be the Process Champion
Create simple, repeatable processes that even new team members can follow
Set up clear escalation paths—when things go sideways, everyone knows exactly what to do
Track metrics that matter: on-time delivery, budget variance, quality scores
4. Connect the Dots Across Teams
Work with Engineering Manager and 3 Senior Managers to balance workload across teams
Bridge between technical teams and client-facing folks
Make sure engineering, operations, and finance are all reading from the same playbook
5. Own the Tools
Keep Jira clean, organized, and actually useful (not a graveyard of old tickets)
Build dashboards in Smartsheet/MS Project that show real status at a glance
Make reporting so simple that anyone can see: "Are we green, yellow, or red?"

What you Must Bring (Non-Negotiables)
✅  PMP Certification  – You know the discipline of project management inside-out
✅  Smartsheet OR MS Project Expert  – You can build plans and trackers in your sleep
✅  Jira Expert Level  – You don't just use it, you make it work for the team
✅  5+ years  managing technical projects with engineering teams

✅  
Experience with 20+ person teams  – you've herded cats before
✅  PM Methodologies  - Strong understanding of formal methodologies (PMI standards, Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), Gantt charts and roadmap visualization, Issue tracking and sprint management
✅  AI-Powered Project Management  – You actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or PM-specific AI tools) to automate reporting, predict risks, and speed up delivery

Required Qualifications

Education:

B.Tech Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
PMP, Agile Certified

Technical Expertise
✓ Expert in Smartsheet or MS Project
✓ Budget management (projects from $50K to $500K+)
✓ Resource allocation across multiple projects
✓ Risk and change management
✓ Quality assurance and compliance
✓ Contract negotiation
✓  AI tools for PM  — automation, reporting, risk prediction, scheduling optimization

Communication Excellence
✓ Business acumen — you understand margins, revenue impact, client ROI, and how delivery affects the bottom line
✓ Strong written and verbal communication skills
✓ Excellent presentation skills — comfortable with clients, executives, and cross-functional teams
✓ Status reporting — gather, analyze, and summarize complex information clearly
✓ Proven success working with all levels of management
