Job Description
Role:
Group Project Manager (B2C Program)
Candidate will independently lead cross-organization teams involved in product engineering and delivery. Manage customer communication on planned releases and delivery. Primarily provide timely update, help mitigate risks and ensure that planned deliveries are made.
The role requires closely working with multiple functional teams (including but not limited to Business, Architects, Engineering, Operation support etc ) in building and maintaining delivery timelines, unblocking teams, defining, and streamlining cross-functional dependencies along with timely completion of the program.
Skills and Qualification
Upto 15-20 years of hands-on technical project/program management experience
Must have Telecom Background with exposure on working with Telcom operators / ISP ( B2B, B2C B2B customer solutions) at least 5+ years in BSS domain.
BSS Domain expertise (Implementation) in one or more of the following is required
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Product Catalog & Offer Management
Order Management & Fulfillment
Billing & Charging (Prepaid/Postpaid)
Revenue Management & Assurance
Payment Gateway / 3rd party Integration
Familiarity in the following Technology and tools are required
Micros services-based architecture
Data Migration Strategy & Execution (ETL, Data Mapping, Cleansing)
Integration Technologies (APIs, ESBs, Messaging Queues)
Cloud-Native BSS (AWS, Azure, GCP - if applicable)
Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, Share Point
Database solution (Oracle, MySQL, Couchbase, Elastic DB, Camunda etc ) ,Data streaming technologies ( such as Kafka)
Program Management skills
Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, manage issues and risks
Strategic planning and thought leadership.
Establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Good Knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology, program planning.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Resolve conflicts and escalate critical issues as needed to ensure project success.
Excellent customer communication skills verbal, written, and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex technical and business issues (and solutions) to diverse audiences
Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute the comprehensive project plan
Build resource capacity planning for release
Work with Rakuten and their existing vendors and stakeholders during entire life cycle of the program delivery, execute release requirements, Prepare detailed project plan, identify risks, manage vendor / vendor resources, measure program metrics and take corrective and preventive actions.
Build infra Forecast and manage infrastructure and Resourcing demand in collaboration with engineering teams
Lead customer communication in agile ceremonies, review Agile metrics, KPI
Coordinate with the onsite-offshore teams, product Management team to Plan the migration, understand business priorities, align required stakeholders to make sure the team is able to deliver the migration on time, first time right.
Secure executives’ buy-in for key decisions.
Monitor, review the progress of the release, quality of the deliverables and take corrective actions
Define effective project governance system. Drive productivity improvement
