Position Overview / Purpose
Manages SAP DB ops (HANA/Oracle), backup, DR, performance, and analytics support.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, analyze, and resolve day-to-day SAP S/4
HANA service requests and incidents.
Monitor SAP S/4
HANA system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with application, Basis, DBAs, and cloud teams for effective incident management.
Support periodic system activities such as Backup and restore, patching, upgrades, client copies, and refreshes under established processes.
Utilize ITSM tools for incident management, ensuring proper ticket documentation, prioritization, and escalation adherence.
Collaborate with higher-tier support for complex issue resolution and root cause analysis.
Core Technical Expertise
HANA/Oracle DB tools, Linux/Windows admin, backup/monitoring, scripting.
Certifications / Qualifications
SAP HANA DB Cert / Oracle OCA.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline that provides a solid background in IT.
Experience & Competencies
5+ yrs DB admin, SAP managed services.
Location / Shift
Bangalore / 24x7 Rotational
