As Lead PM, you will drive product security (audit logging, robust roles/permissions design including Partner models), as well as key collaboration features like notifications and notes. You will execute the product roadmap hands-on, translating requirements into impactful, compliant, and user-friendly capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead roadmap, design, and delivery for :
- Audit Logs:
End-to-end ownership, including event capture, tamper-proof storage, search/filter, and rich reporting/analytics.
- Roles & Permissions:
Design and evolve granular role-based access control (RBAC) for users and complex partner scenarios
- Notifications & Notes:
Define and deliver contextual notifications (in-app, email), user mentions, and note-taking/commenting features integrated across the platform
- Requirements Management:
Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; work hands-on with engineering and QA through development cycles.
- Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work closely with Security, Compliance, Engineering, Customer Success, and external auditors to ensure alignment and meet regulatory standards (GDPR, SOC 2, etc.).
- Customer Focus:
Champion user and admin needs, gather feedback from enterprise clients, and continuously iterate to improve usability and coverage of security features.
- Metrics & Monitoring:
Define and track KPIs for audit log completeness, permission accuracy, and access control effectiveness.
- Documentation:
Produce clear product documentation and release notes for stakeholders (internal and external).
- Security Advocacy:
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in product security, compliance, and SaaS controls.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
5–8 years in product management for SaaS or cloud products, with direct experience in security features (audit logs, IAM, access controls, or compliance).
- Technical Fluency:
Understanding of audit log architectures, data pipelines, reporting/analytics, and RBAC/permission management in SaaS environments.
- Hands-On Execution:
Track record of translating requirements into shipped product features.
- Stakeholder Management:
Effective cross-functional collaboration (Product, Engineering, Security, Compliance).
- Experience designing/administering permissioning frameworks in B2B SaaS
- Detail-Oriented:
Strong attention to data fidelity, auditability, and system robustness.
- Communication:
Exceptional documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Exposure to security event monitoring, SIEM, or similar platforms.
