Head of Conversational AI Engineering

YOUR ROLE

- Own the end-to-end prompt and conversational ai engineering strategy across all AI products, ensuring consistently accurate, reliable, and high-quality model outputs.
- Design, develop, and continuously optimize production-grade prompt systems for complex, real-world use cases.
- Define and maintain quality benchmarks by rigorously testing prompts against QC outputs and performance metrics.
- Lead structured experimentation and A/B testing to systematically improve prompt effectiveness, accuracy, and robustness.
- Manager a talented set of Conversational AI Engineers alongwith mentoring and guiding them, setting a high bar for quality, innovation and growth.
- Partner closely with AI researchers, engineers, product managers, and business teams to align prompts with product goals and user outcomes.
- Analyze user behavior, feedback, and model outputs to drive data-backed prompt improvements.
- Stay ahead of advancements in LLMs, NLP techniques, and prompt frameworks, and translate them into practical implementations.
- Establish and document prompt engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices, enabling scale and consistency across teams.

✅ QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a managerial role is a must
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Linguistics, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- Deep command of English language, structure, and intent modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
