Role Overview
We are seeking a highly technical and experienced QA Manager (10–15 years) to lead our Quality Assurance function for enterprise-grade AI and SaaS products. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise across test strategy, test planning, execution, automation frameworks, non-functional testing, data validation, and security testing.
This is a key leadership role requiring strong product engineering experience, the ability to build scalable QA processes, and hands-on capability in both manual and automation testing. Candidates with backgrounds in broader tech/product companies, AI/ML systems testing, and end-to-end QA ownership will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Leadership
Own and define end-to-end QA strategies, processes, and standards for complex AI-driven enterprise platforms.
Lead planning, estimation, risk analysis, and quality gate reviews.
Collaborate with Engineering, PM, and Architecture teams to ensure testability and quality alignment.
Mentor and guide the QA team, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement.

Functional & Manual Testing
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban).
Expertise in test scenario design, test case development, execution, and reporting.
Hands-on experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and acceptance testing.
Proficiency in defect lifecycle management using tools such as JIRA.
Solid knowledge of black-box testing techniques.
Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

Automation Testing
Strong hands-on experience in UI, API, and database automation.
Expertise in automation frameworks (custom and open-source).
Strong programming skills in Python (preferred).
Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI).
Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Spec Flow).
Ability to build, optimize, and maintain reusable automation test scripts.

Experience with version control (Git, Bitbucket, SVN).
Hands-on experience with headless automation and parallel execution.

Data Testing
Strong experience with SQL and No

SQL databases (MySQL, Postgre

DB, Cassandra).
Ability to write complex queries for data validation and reconciliation.
Data pipeline, ETL, and data lake testing exposure.
Experience validating data integrity, transformation, and migration in high-volume environments.

Performance & Non-Functional Testing
Hands-on experience in performance, load, stress, reliability, and scalability testing.
Expertise using tools such as:
JMeter
Blaze Meter
Ability to analyze throughput, response times, latency, and performance bottlenecks.

Experience with cloud-based load distribution and scalability tests.
Knowledge of APM and profiling tools:
New Relic, Dynatrace, App Dynamics.

Experience with log monitoring tools (ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus).
Understanding of capacity planning and infrastructure performance tuning.

Security & Penetration Testing
Good understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, and secure coding concepts.

Experience with penetration testing using:
Burp Suite
OWASP ZAP
Knowledge of API security testing (JWT, OAuth, token-based authentication).
Ability to generate comprehensive vulnerability assessment reports and drive remediation with engineering teams.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10–15 years of hands-on experience in QA across SaaS / AI / enterprise product companies.
Demonstrated experience in building QA strategies, leading teams, and delivering high-quality releases in Agile environments.

Skills & Attributes
Strong technical depth across functional and non-functional testing.
Experience working with AI/ML-driven applications or data-heavy platforms.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience with CSV, GxP, or regulated environments is a plus.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced product engineering environment.
