Role Overview :
As an Associate / Senior Associate – Licensing , you will support licensing, litigation, and IP strategy engagements for leading technology companies. You will work closely with Licensing Leads, technologists, and IP professionals to deliver high-quality analysis and client-ready outputs across patent licensing and standards-related projects.
This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge technologies, global standards, and real-world licensing matters , with a strong learning curve and a clear progression.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in analysing, evaluating, and ranking patent portfolios for licensing and monetization potential
Independently perform patent-to-product mapping , claim charting, infringement/essentiality analysis document, EOUs, and other client-ready licensing deliverables
Conduct standards and market-based research to identify:
Relevant standards, technologies, and features
Potential products, implementers, and markets
Work on SEP-related projects across standards such as:

GPP, ETSI, IEEE (Wi-Fi), RFCs
Video codecs, Bluetooth, and related ecosystems
Follow defined processes while proactively suggesting improvements and efficiencies
Desired Skillset:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
Ability to understand and apply complex hi-tech and telecom concepts, with exposure to or strong interest in telecom and connectivity standards (e.g., 3
GPP, ETSI, IEEE Wi-Fi, RFCs, video codecs, Bluetooth).
Prior experience or internships in IP research, patent analytics, licensing, or litigation support
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail. Ability to produce clear, structured, and accurate work products
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment
Education/Professional Qualification and
Work Experience:
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, and Computer Science

0.5-3 years
