DESCRIPTION:
A Business Analyst facilitates the flow of information between various stakeholders (external and internal) and analyzes data to provide insights that enhance customer experience and business continuity. The BA is responsible for researching and querying internal tools, analyzing data, and making data-driven decisions in real-time. The ideal candidate should be able to understand requirements, identify root causes through data analysis, and drive stakeholder satisfaction without compromising on time.
A basic understanding of logistics and clear communication skills, both written and oral, are essential
Key job responsibilities
• Communicate with external stakeholders (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal stakeholders (operations, finance).
• Pull data from multiple databases (using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems) to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results.
• Quickly analyze available data to make informed decisions and follow through on resolutions to ensure timely delivery.
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to create narratives outlining weekly findings, variances to goals, and present these findings in review forums.
• Provide real-time stakeholder experience by working in a fast-paced operating environment.

Basic qualifications
•
• Bachelor's degree.
•
• 36 months+ of work experience.
•
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
•
• Excellent communication skills to facilitate information flow between internal and external parties.
•
• Proficiency in advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
•
• Basic knowledge of SQL (joins, nested queries).
•
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
•
• Fluency in English.
Preferred qualifications
• Background in logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in SQL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of data analytics or automation experience
- 1+ years of capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
- Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level
- Experience with data mining tools like SQL, SAS, SPSS, or similar
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions
