Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced  Senior Technical Architect / Practice Lead – SAP ABAP  to lead solution architecture, technical presales, and delivery governance initiatives. The role requires a seasoned SAP ABAP leader who can act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders while building and managing high-performing technical teams.
This position will play a critical role in shaping SAP transformation programs, especially ECC to S/4

HANA journeys, and driving innovation and standardization across the ABAP practice.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical solutioning for  SAP ECC to S/4

HANA transformation programs
Own and drive  technical presales activities , including:
Solution architecture and design, Effort estimation and sizing, RFP/RFI responses, & Client presentations and workshops
Define and establish:
Technical roadmaps, Reference architectures, Reusable frameworks and accelerators
Provide architectural governance across multiple programs and accounts
Drive standardization, reusability, automation, and innovation within the SAP ABAP practice
Manage and mentor large onshore and offshore technical teams
Partner with Sales, Delivery, and Functional leadership to craft winning solutions
Act as a trusted advisor to customers and executive stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
10+ years of strong hands-on experience in  SAP ABAP and S/4

HANA ecosystem
Proven expertise in:
Solution architecture, Estimation and planning, Technical presales and customer engagements,
Deep technical expertise in: ABAP on HANA, RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model), CDS Views, AMDP, OData Services, APIs and integrations
Strong understanding of S/4

HANA extensibility models
Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
Experience working in large-scale implementation programs (preferred over support-only background)
Strong exposure to  SAP BTP services  and cloud extensibility
Experience defining practice-level standards, frameworks, and reusable assets
Exposure to Dev Ops, CI/CD pipelines for SAP

Experience with automation strategies in SAP delivery
