Role Summary
This role supports the Director of Media Taxonomy & Data Connectivity by operationalizing global taxonomy standards, executing day-to-day governance processes, ensuring data quality across platforms, and maintaining the workflows and tooling that keep media data clean, consistent, and analytics ready. The Manager will collaborate closely with DTBC, Activation and Ad Tech teams to implement standards, troubleshoot issues, run QA, maintain documentation, and support global adoption of taxonomy and data governance practices.

This role is execution heavy and ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and experienced in media operations or ad-tech environments.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the global media taxonomy framework, including campaign structures, naming conventions, channel hierarchies, audience/segment vocabularies, and creative metadata.
Maintain and update the global taxonomy playbook; ensure regional teams understand and apply the standards consistently.
Execute daily and weekly QA workflows to ensure accurate, complete, and reliable media data across all platforms.
Support mapping of media data into standardized schemas by partnering with DTBC and Activation teams; troubleshoot discrepancies.
Ensure taxonomy rules and data structures are correctly applied across ad servers, DSPs, media platforms, tag managers, and measurement systems.
Administer and maintain taxonomy and QA tools; support enhancements, configuration changes, and user access needs.
Perform automated and manual validation checks; identify violations; quarantine non-compliant records; and work with teams to resolve issues.
Support platform migrations, onboarding of new tools, and implementation of global processes.
Assist with training sessions, documentation updates, and enablement activities for global teams.
Monitor compliance with privacy, consent, and ; flag potential risks or misalignment.
Execute recurring audits, diagnostics, and remediation tasks related to taxonomy, data quality, and system integrity.

Qualifications
4–6+ years of experience in media operations, ad tech, marketing data governance, or digital analytics.
Hands-on experience applying and maintaining naming conventions, taxonomy standards, and trafficking structures across major media platforms.
Working knowledge of data architecture basics (schemas, IDs, lineage), QA methods, and data quality best practices.

Experience with ad servers, DSPs, platform setups, tag managers, and measurement tools; comfort identifying setup errors.
Ability to collaborate across activation, analytics, engineering, and ops teams to resolve discrepancies and align on standards.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into clear next steps for teams.
Experience or familiarity with Mediaocean/Prisma, data clean rooms, BI tools, or QA automation tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-moving global operations environment.
