As AI changes how buyers research, compare, and decide, we’re building a new capability focused on AI Search Optimization (AEO / LLMO) - helping B2B tech brands show up inside AI answers, not just traditional search results. This role sits at the center of that effort.
The Role:
AI Search & Technical Content Systems Lead (Part-Time, Contract)
We’re looking for a hands-on operator who can design and run content systems that rank in AI search .
You’ll be responsible for building and executing highly niche, technical content engines that perform across:
AI-driven search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot)
Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
Conventional SEO (as a supporting layer)
Performance is reviewed weekly against clearly defined KPIs.
What You’ll DoBuild AI Search Content Systems
Design repeatable content frameworks optimized for AI retrieval, citation, and summarization
Create topic clusters that establish technical authority , not surface-level coverage
Structure content to be machine-readable, extractable, and reference-worthy by LLMs
Produce & Scale Technical Content
Plan and oversee production of deep, niche technical blogs
Ensure content maps directly to:
High-intent buyer questions
Product capabilities
Real technical workflows and use cases
Maintain consistency and quality as output scales
Optimize for AEO + SEO
Optimize content for:
AI answer inclusion
Featured answers and summaries
Traditional organic rankings where relevant
Monitor how content appears in AI tools and adjust structure, depth, and framing accordingly
Own Performance & Iteration
Define KPIs tied to visibility, ranking, citation, and buyer relevance
Review performance weekly and iterate aggressively
Kill what doesn’t work. Double down on what does.
Collaborate with Strategy & Creative
Work closely with Yellow Pebble’s strategy, design, and GTM teams
Ensure content aligns with client positioning, ICPs, and sales narratives
Translate complex technical inputs into authoritative, AI-friendly content
What You Bring
3+ years in technical content, SEO, AEO, or search-driven growth
Proven experience building content systems , not just writing posts
Deep understanding of how AI search engines retrieve, rank, and synthesize content
Comfort working with complex B2B products (AI, data, infra, SaaS, dev tools, platforms)
Ability to operate independently, move fast, and be accountable to results
Strong opinions, backed by testing and data
