Technical Architect - Data

Location: Bengaluru

Role & Responsibilities:

● 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with a significant focus on designing and leading enterprise-scale data governance programs on cloud platforms.

● Expert-level experience designing end-to-end governance solutions using Google Cloud Dataplex as the central platform for metadata, data quality, and classification.

● Proven experience architecting data ecosystems on the GCP stack, including Big Query, Spanner, Alloy

DB, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub.

● Strong architectural experience in defining enterprise-wide data governance frameworks, business glossaries, data lineage tracking, and metadata management strategies.

● Strong knowledge about the features present in Dataplex and how some of the existing features can be used to solve challenges.

● Preferred proficiency in data modeling concepts, including Data Vault and dimensional modeling for analytics platforms.

● Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and defining architectural patterns for Dev Ops/Data Ops automation in a governance context.

● Prior experience designing security frameworks, including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and data access policies.

● Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic decisions in a global environment.
