AWS Cloud Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Bangalore | Enterprise-Scale Cloud Environment
Salary: ₹4million - ₹5.5 million Indian Rupees (INR) / ₹40 - ₹55 lakh
Hybrid Working: 2-3 days onsite in the office
We’re hiring an experienced Cloud SRE to join a global organisation investing heavily in its next-generation cloud platform.
This team sits at the heart of a large, complex AWS estate partnering with engineering and data teams to design, build and operate highly reliable, secure and scalable systems used across the business.
This is not a traditional support role. It’s hands-on platform engineering with real ownership.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Designing and evolving resilient, multi-account AWS architectures (multi-AZ / multi-region)
Building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform
Developing CI/CD workflows with Git Hub Actions
Automating operational processes with Python / Bash (Boto3 required)
Improving observability, monitoring and defining SLOs
Leading incident response and post-incident reviews
Driving performance, capacity planning and cost optimisation initiatives
Embedding security best practices across the platform
You’ll work closely with development teams to reduce toil, improve reliability, and future-proof the cloud environment as demand grows.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience managing complex, multi-account AWS environments
Deep hands-on Terraform expertise
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Automation mindset (Python/Bash; AWS SDK experience essential)
Background handling production incidents and critical changes
Knowledge of AWS services across compute, networking, databases, security and observability
Understanding of cloud security principles (encryption, vulnerability management, shift-left practices)
Exposure to Kubernetes (EKS) , cost optimisation strategies, and Dev Ops/Agile environments would be advantageous.
You’ll join a high-performing cloud engineering practice focused on reliability, scalability, performance and efficiency at enterprise scale.
