About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Science with strong domain expertise in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Process Industries, combined with deep exposure to Data Science, AI/ML, and Industrial Software. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping and guiding the development of data-driven B2B SaaS solutions for industrial applications, leveraging deep operational insight and advanced analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AI/ML teams to design solutions that align with real-world industrial use cases
- Provide domain expertise and strategic guidance in Oil & Gas, Power, or Chemicals to product, engineering, and data science teams
- Define product requirements and influence roadmap based on domain knowledge and market needs
- Serve as a thought leader in industrial IoT, predictive maintenance, asset management, and reliability engineering
- Support GTM teams in customer discussions, industry presentations, and positioning of the product offering
- Lead knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring for internal teams on industry-specific processes and pain points
Qualifications:
- 4- 8years of total experience, with hands-on experience with Data Science / AI / ML teams
- Mandatory:
Extensive experience in manufacturing operations within Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or Chemicals
- Proven track record in developing and launching B2B SaaS products for industrial environments
- Strong understanding of industrial IoT, predictive analytics, Process Optimization, machine learning, and digital transformation
- Familiarity with industrial asset management, maintenance operations, and reliability engineering
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders
- Preferred: MBA or relevant advanced technical degree (e.g., Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research)
Required Skills:
- Global exposure across different geographies and regulatory environments
- Prior experience working with digital twins, SCADA, CMMS, or EAM systems
- Published thought leadership or public speaking experience at industry forums
