Job Description
Define and drive the vision for data science initiatives, aligning with client account’s organizational goals in patient, commercial analytics etc.
Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of Data Engineers, Data scientists, MLOPs Engineers and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning and ensure successful and on-time delivery from offshore.
Partner with onshore team to translate business requirements into analytical roadmaps and actionable insights.
Serve as the senior data‑science SME in RFPs, proposals, and client presentations; identify new opportunities and craft innovative solution pitches.
Publish whitepapers, present at industry forums, and drive internal knowledge‑sharing on emerging AI/ML trends and best practices.
Establish and enforce data‑science standards, MLOps pipelines, and runtime‑efficiency benchmarks to ensure reproducibility, auditability, and operational excellence.
Communicate progress, risks, and impact to senior leadership; manage priorities across multiple concurrent projects with clear SLAs and ROI metrics.

Desired Profile
Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
12+ years of overall professional experience, including 8+ years of post‑collegiate experience in advanced analytics or data science within the pharma industry.
Deep expertise in  Commercial pharma analytics ,  patient   claims analytics , and functional knowledge of pharma domains

Hands‑on knowledge on AI/ML including LLMs, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and traditional algorithms (XGBoost, Random Forest, Neural Nets, NLP).
MLOps & Dev Ops Proficiency:
Experience designing and implementing MLOps frameworks, CI/CD for models, and Runtime Optimization practices
Effectively working with onshore team and cross-team stakeholders on the client side
Strong programming foundation in  Python, R ,  PySpark  or similar languages.
Demonstrated success in  business development , including identifying opportunities and driving growth through cross-selling within existing clients, identifying new clients.
Experience leading  Agile projects , with proven project planning and project management capabilities.
Team leadership experience , including mentoring and developing talent.
Exceptional  written and verbal communication  skills.
Strong attention to detail and a  research‑oriented mindset with openness to adapt and learn  with the changing market scenarios.
Excellent  critical thinking and problem‑solving  abilities.
